Presentation - RDAA has given a presentation on the following topics:
• Objectives of the Green Deck
• Key Design Concepts and Interface with Hung Hom Station
• Latest Design Features in the Final Project Design and the design gains

Project objectives - Davis & Prof. introduced the visions of the project.
• Pedestrian permeability and connection
• Culture integration
• High-tech connection & railway
• Economic momentum
• Regional connection with Greater Bay

Connection with the surrounding context - Mr. Tony Tse enquired about connection of the GD with the surrounding context.
Arup clarified:
• The GD directed people to the old East TST district
• Enhance the permeability and accessibility
• Detail linkages with the surrounding content could be discussed after the completion of the GD.
• Identified the major linkage with HM Station with great development potential
• Direct pedestrian to waterfront

Level of GD - How can the level of GD facilitate pedestrian access?
• HM Station (western part) can access the GD at the same level

Other planning - gains
• Revitalize the old HM Station
• Drive urban renewal in East TST

Connection with the waterfront - Connection of GD with the waterfront should be enhanced

Attract pedestrian from HM Station - May need to further consider how to attract pedestrians from HM Station podium to the GD

Public support - The development potential of GD may enhance the vitality of the old East TST district, which in turn may gain a higher level of public support
